Biography
Fanta BS Manneh, is the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Tecnical) Ministry of Fisheries,Water Resources and National Assembly Matters of the Republic of The Gambia. Before then She hold the position of the DPS (Admin & Finance) at the Ministry of Interior from 2020 to 2022
She was appointed a Regional Governor for Mansakonko and Basse Administrative Regions from 2017 to 2020
Worked at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education as a classroom Teacher and rosed to the position of a Principal Education Officer from 1994 to 2016
She started school at Brikama Primary School, proceeded to Gambia Muslim High School, where She obtained professional certificates on Primary Teacher's Certificate and Higher Teacher's certificate from 1992 to 1994 and 1996 to 1998 respectively from the Gambia College of the Gambia
Hold a Bachelor's Degree at the University of the Gambia from 2003 to 2005 and also hold a Master's Degree in Public Sector Management at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in Ghana from 2010 to 2012
Attended international professional programs on World Urban Forum in Abu Dhabi in 2020 and Climate Emergency Programme in Benin in 2019.
