In support of Combating COVID-19

The Department of Fisheries (DoFISH) under the Ministry of Fisheries, Water Resources and National Assembly Matters (MoFWR&NAMs) is pleased to support Community Fisheries Centers with sanitary equipment and handwashing detergents. This gesture is in line with our efforts to combat COVID-19 Pandemic. Altogether a total of   thirteen (13) handwashing plastic pans with taps to be distributed to eleven Community Fisheries Centers.

In addition to the above, we are sincerely to the fisheries-folk communities to adhere to the WHO and Ministry of Health recommended guidelines in particular regular handwashing and social distancing. We ask all operators to go and stay at home after work.
